Susanna Reid, 55, has declared that “no one’s too old for a swimsuit” after sharing a series of holiday photos from Ibiza, including a moment raving with DJ Fatboy Slim. The Good Morning Britain host posted the images on Instagram, where she also revealed she attended Calvin Harris’s show at Ushuaïa on Tuesday night.
Swimsuit and Denim Shorts at O Beach
Earlier this week, Reid shared snaps from her holiday that showed her in a swimsuit and denim shorts at a poolside party at O Beach. The photos quickly garnered thousands of likes on Instagram, with comments filled with flame emojis and “phwoar” remarks. In a new post, she included a powerful message: “Don’t let anyone tell you that you are too old, that you shouldn’t wear the swimsuit – or the shorts!!!”
Reid, who has been visiting Ibiza every year for more than a decade, wrote: “Away from home, this is my favourite place on earth. … Just found out it was the destination for mum and dad’s first foreign holiday together back in 1959. The connection must be strong!” She described the island as “beautiful – the people, the weather, the landscape, the food and of course the clubs.”
Raving with Fatboy Slim and Calvin Harris
Among the carousel of photos, Reid included a shot of herself with DJ Fatboy Slim, whom she described as a “legend.” The musician has played various gigs in Ibiza this month, and Reid captured him in his trademark printed shirt, feeling the music with headphones around his neck while singing along. She also revealed she attended Calvin Harris’s show at Ushuaïa on Tuesday night, meaning she “really has had the full Ibiza experience.”

Embracing Ageing Gracefully
Speaking previously about ageing, Reid told Woman & Home: “Women, especially in television, are completely embracing ageing gracefully, which means we’re not fighting it. We’re accepting it, welcoming it and enjoying it.” She added: “All the women on Good Morning Britain are looking better and better than we did. We’ve got a brilliant styling team, but it is also an attitude thing. It’s like no one’s afraid of ageing, so you inhabit it rather than resist it. I have literally no fear of getting older.”
Reid, who co-parents her three sons with ex-partner Dominic Cotton, previously said in 2024 of her annual Ibiza getaways: “We go to the day clubs together, and then I go back to the hotel, and they go to the nightclubs!” Insisting that “every day is fabulous,” the former BBC Breakfast star concluded her Instagram post with: “Thank you Ibiza – see you next year ❤️.”
