Two Weeks in August Finale

The frantic, funny, holiday-from-hell drama starring Jessica Raine concludes with another double bill on BBC One at 9pm. Nothing about this show has been understated, and the finale is no exception. Zoe has disappeared, and just when things couldn't get any worse, a wildfire threatens the island. It's extravagantly silly and extremely good fun, according to Phil Harrison.

Other Highlights

On Channel 5 at 5.05pm, The Royals: Uncensored launches with journalists Katie Nicholl and Jo Elvin bringing palace scoops to a wider platform, featuring a drop-in from Piers Morgan. At 5.20pm on BBC One, Celebrity Bridge of Lies sees Ross Kemp host Rosie Jones, Harriet Kemsley, Nabil Abdulrashid, and Ed Byrne playing for charity.

Alexander Armstrong Across America

At 8pm on Channel 5, Alexander Armstrong begins his American odyssey in Philadelphia, buying a cheese-steak and visiting a rowing club. The travelogue also explores the opioid crisis in downtown Kensington, though Armstrong is an amiable host even if not always a perfect match for the material.
