The acclaimed spy thriller Slow Horses has confirmed its season 6 plot and premiere date, with the new season arriving on Wednesday, September 16.
Season 6 Details
Based on Mick Herron's novels, the Apple TV series stars Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb, leading a team of misfit MI5 agents. The new season sees the Slow Horses on the run after Diana Taverner (Kristin Scott Thomas) involves them in a deadly game of retaliation and revenge.
The season is expected to adapt Herron's sixth and seventh books, Joe Country and Slough House. Joe Country follows the agents to a snowbound region of Wales to settle a deadly score.
Cast and Crew
Returning cast includes Jack Lowden as River, Christopher Chung as Roddy Ho, Saskia Reeves as Catherine Standish, Aimee-Ffion Edwards as Shirley Dander, Rosalind Eleazar as Louisa Guy, and Tom Brooke as JK Coe. Newcomer Lenny Rush, a BAFTA-winning actor, joins the cast.
Gaby Chiappe adapted the season for television, with Adam Randall directing.
