Jungle Drama Erupts Over Sweet Theft

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! viewers have expressed outrage after witnessing what they're calling 'selfish behaviour' from campmate Ruby Wax. The controversy unfolded during Tuesday night's episode on November 25, 2025, when the 72-year-old comedian decided to keep a bag of liquorice allsorts entirely for herself.

The Sweet Scandal Unfolds

The confectionery had been won through a challenging task where campmates Kelly Brook, Eddie Kadi, Tom Read Wilson and Vogue Williams were dropped into an oversized nursery cot. The group faced a combination of jungle critters and teddy bears named after famous children's stories while attempting to describe story titles without using key words.

Their successful efforts earned the camp a generous reward of chocolate eclairs, lemon sherbets, fruit pastels and liquorice assorts. However, rather than sharing the bounty with her fellow celebrities, Ruby Wax separated herself from the group to secretly enjoy an entire bag of liquorice allsorts alone.

Speaking to ITV cameras in the jungle hut confessional, the comedian offered little remorse for her actions. 'Sorry, it's each man for himself now,' she declared, later adding: 'My inner animal took over, I've got a mouth to feed, which is mine!'

Camp Fallout and Viewer Backlash

The following morning, campmates addressed the incident, with former football professional Alex Scott appearing particularly frustrated. 'I think that was just a lesson, it is something to laugh about but it is something like that, a small thing, that can become a big thing,' she commented thoughtfully.

Scott continued, highlighting how the situation created confusion: 'I think the reaction to the sweets situation yesterday, certain people didn't know what sweets were there, who was getting what and it could just be handled in a different situation.'

Fellow campmate Angry Ginge proposed a solution for future rewards, suggesting that the camp chefs should divide treats fairly among all participants. Throughout the discussion, Ruby Wax remained noticeably silent.

Social media platforms exploded with criticism from disappointed viewers. Twitter user @kezi2001 questioned: 'I wonder if there will be any repercussions for Ruby, eating all the liquorice allsorts.'

@biralina55 echoed the sentiment, stating: 'Ruby should get penalised for that. Next time they get sweets she gets none. Who's with me?' Meanwhile, Courtenay expressed frustration at the lack of immediate confrontation: 'Why is nobody saying anything? I can't stand selfish behaviour.'

@xxncisaddictxx added their perspective: 'That's actually rather selfish of Ruby. I'm sorry she wasn't the one who won those sweets.'

Elsewhere in the episode, Jack Osbourne achieved an impressive 12 stars during his first solo Bushtucker Trial, demonstrating remarkable breath-holding abilities while facing water dragons and mud crabs. The camp's reward included difficult-to-open crabs and potatoes, which Osbourne also had to prepare.

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! continues on Wednesday night at 9pm on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player.
