Gladiators star Giant has revealed that it is a 'very, very exciting time' for his television career as he moves on from the BBC show that brought him fame. Jamie Biggs, known as Giant, claims he was removed from the Saturday night program because the BBC disapproved of his girlfriend's work as an OnlyFans model.
The 40-year-old had been part of Gladiators since its reboot in January 2024, but Jamie alleges he was let go after expressing his desire to go public about his relationship with Taylor Ryan, 28. Despite no longer being on the sports entertainment show, he has plans to remain on screen.
Giant told The Sun that 'TV is something that I would very much like to continue.' He added: 'Having the flexibility and the ability to speak about more taboo subjects is something that moving forward, perhaps, can now happen.'
Although he did not provide specifics, he stated: 'There's lots of things in the pipeline at the minute. It's actually a very, very exciting time and I'm definitely looking forward to the future. I can't divulge any information on particular shows or events, situations just yet.'
However, he will not be following his girlfriend Taylor onto the paid-content platform. Joking about his involvement in her videos, he told The Sun he would leave that to the professionals: 'The performance anxiety would be too much.'
Speaking to Metro about Taylor's job, he said: 'Taylor is entitled to her private life. We're doing nothing wrong.' Defending his girlfriend, he added: 'OnlyFans is just one of the things that Taylor does, [it is] a very small part of who she is.'
The bodybuilder and TV personality split from his wife, Katie Christian, in November last year. Katie regularly shares content about being newly single – recently she posted a video where she claimed she was 'struggling with how easily something real gets replaced by something new and then held up like it carries the same weight.'
