Nintendo Black Friday Sale: Big Game Discounts

Nintendo Kicks Off Black Friday With Major Game Discounts

Nintendo has officially launched its highly anticipated Black Friday sale, bringing significant savings to gamers across the United Kingdom. The promotion features discounts across a wide range of products including popular games, Nintendo Switch Online memberships, Lego sets, and collectible plushies.

With the Christmas shopping season now in full swing, Black Friday has become one of the most important periods for consumers looking to purchase gifts at reasonable prices. This is particularly relevant for gaming enthusiasts, given that the standard cost of most full-priced games now sits at an uncomfortable £70.

Although Black Friday isn't technically until November 28, the shopping event now encompasses practically the whole month due to rampant consumerism. Many companies, including Sony and EA, have already announced their Black Friday deals for the coming weeks.

eShop Deals: First-Party Nintendo Titles See Significant Reductions

Nintendo's Black Friday sale is taking place across two separate fronts, with the most exciting offers found in the Nintendo eShop. Among the standout first-party titles are Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom, both available at 25% off, reducing their price to £37.49 each.

Other notable first-party discounts include Fire Emblem Engage and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 at 33% off, bringing their prices down to £33.29. The sale extends to numerous third-party titles as well, with Yakuza 0 Director's Cut available for £31.49 for the Nintendo Switch 2.

Several older games have received particularly impressive price cuts, including 2016's Doom for just £3.39 (80% off) and the original Blasphemous for £4.99 (75% off). Additional highlights from the eShop sale include:

  • Spyro Reignited Trilogy – £12.49 (65% off)
  • WarioWare: Move it! – £27.99 (30% off)
  • Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3&4 – £23.99 (40% off)

  • Moving Out 2 – £8.49 (66% off)

Bonus Membership Offers and Merchandise Discounts

Nintendo is also offering additional incentives for shoppers spending above certain thresholds during the eShop sale. Customers who spend £25 or more will receive one bonus month free for Nintendo Switch Online, while those spending £35 or more will get two bonus months.

Beyond the digital storefront, the My Nintendo Store features discounts on various merchandise, though these are generally less impressive than the game deals. Shoppers can pick up various Nintendo Switch 2 bundles with a free 12-month Nintendo Switch Online membership included.

The best merchandise deals include plushies from popular franchises like Animal Crossing, Kirby, and Zelda, alongside Lego sets. Notable highlights from the My Nintendo Store include:

  • Lego Super Mario Kart – £104.99 (down from £149.99)
  • Lego Animal Crossing Isabelle's House – £24.49 (down from £34.99)
  • Nintendo Switch Wired Controller Fire Mario – £17.49 (down from £24.99)
  • Bokoblin plushie from Zelda – £13.64 (down from £19.49)

All these Black Friday deals will be available until December 1, 2025, giving UK gamers plenty of time to take advantage of the savings. Looking ahead to the Christmas season, Nintendo's software line-up is led by Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Kirby Air Riders, and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond.
