Tyson and Paris Fury's extravagant wedding gift for their daughter Venezuela has sparked mixed feelings among family members. The proud parents gifted the teenage couple £5 million to help kick-start their life together, along with paying for their honeymoon.
A Lavish Wedding Celebration
Venezuela Fury, 16, married amateur boxer Noah Price, 19, on Saturday at the Victorian Royal Chapel of St. John's near the family home on the Isle of Man. The teenage bride wore a huge fishtail gown with a dramatic 50-foot train. No expense was spared for the big day, which is hardly surprising given that Tyson Fury has a net worth of around $146 million (£108.8 million).
Mixed Feelings Among Relatives
While Venezuela and Noah were over the moon about the generous gift, some family members thought £5 million was too indulgent for such a young couple. A source told The Sun: 'Some family members thought it was a lot of money for a young couple so there were some mixed feelings — but it's up to Tyson and Paris.'
Additional Generosity
The couple also paid for the honeymoon at an undisclosed location, which the newlyweds departed for from Manchester Airport. Venezuela wore a butter yellow £590 outfit from Alo, white New Balance trainers, and black Versace sunglasses as she walked through the airport arm-in-arm with her husband, who wore a grey On tracksuit.
The source added: 'The wedding was magical and they spent £40,000 on Venezuela's dress alone. That's the gypsy way — go big. Venezuela and Paris made sure every detail was taken care of. There were 10,000 blue hydrangeas and the cake was huge. Tyson and Paris booked Peter Andre months ago. He and Tyson are friends and sang together. It was a happy day for all.'
They also bought a traditional wagon as a sentimental gift, matching one that Tyson and Paris have in their own yard.
Future Plans
When the couple return home, Venezuela plans to leave her parents' £8 million mansion to move into a caravan with her new husband. They are expected to move onto a traveller campsite in the East Riding of Yorkshire, away from the family home on the Isle of Man. A source shared that the teen 'wants to start her married life in the traditional style of a traveller, just like her parents did.'
Tyson and Paris met as teenagers and spent their early years living together in a caravan before moving to a wooden cabin on his father's property in Styal, Cheshire. It was around a decade ago that Tyson's career exploded, pushing him into multimillionaire status after high-profile matches. The source explained: 'She has lived in luxury since she was born but is willing to swap her home comforts to go and live in a static caravan. She thinks it did her parents no harm and is looking forward to taking care of all the domestics while Noah goes out to work. Her parents approve.'
Childhood sweethearts Tyson and Paris have seven children: Venezuela, 16; Prince John James, 14; Prince Tyson II, 8; Valencia Amber, 8; Prince Adonis Amaziah, 7; Athena, 4; and Prince Rico Paris, 2.
