Emmerdale's Serena linked to Jamie Tate as mystery deepens
Emmerdale: Serena's connection to Jamie Tate revealed

Serena Sugden's true colors are showing in Emmerdale as she orchestrates a scheme targeting the Tate family. After previously concealing her connection to John Sugden, Serena is now revealed to have stolen a USB stick from Home Farm and is actively seeking information about Jamie Tate.

Serena's Deception Uncovered

Last week, Aaron Dingle discovered that partner Robert Sugden had been injured by a trailer. Serena informed Aaron of the incident, sparking his suspicion that she had set it up deliberately, mirroring John Sugden's pattern of endangering others to play the hero. The situation escalated when Chas Dingle found photos on Serena's phone showing her with John, contradicting Serena's claim that she hadn't seen him in years.

Serena later explained to Robert and Aaron that John visited her family last December, and her mother recognized him from news reports. Like many villagers, Serena had been charmed by John and struggled to accept his criminal side. Robert sympathized and allowed her to stay.

USB Stick Theft and Farm Sabotage

It was then confirmed that Serena was the one who broke into Home Farm and stole a USB stick. In today's episode, she deliberately damaged a fence on the farm to create an excuse to see Ross Barton. Once Ross arrived, Serena claimed that Kim Tate needed to fund a new fence, urging an immediate visit to Home Farm.

Ross, attracted to Serena, agreed. At Home Farm, Serena hid the USB stick down the sofa while snooping. She picked up a photograph, mistaking Jamie Tate for a young Joe Tate. Ross corrected her, revealing it was Kim's son Jamie, and shared details about Jamie's dark past in the village. Serena listened intently.

Mysterious Phone Call

After Ross left, Serena was seen on the phone, stating she believed she had a way into Kim's house. Her actions suggest she is using Ross to gain access to the Tate family, and her interest in Jamie hints at a deeper connection to the USB stick and her overall plan.

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV at 7:30pm.
