Lego Skylines Leaked by Korean Ratings Board: A City Builder Surprise
Lego Skylines Leaked: City Builder Surprise

A new Lego game has been leaked via the Korean ratings board, and it is not the typical action-adventure collect-a-thon fans might expect. The Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea has rated a title called Lego Skylines, which appears to be a city-building simulation in the vein of SimCity or Cities: Skylines.

As spotted by Gematsu, Lego Skylines was recently rated for release in South Korea, suggesting an imminent launch. This is presumably a Lego spin on the Cities: Skylines franchise from publisher Paradox Interactive. While a city builder may seem like an odd choice at first, it is in theory a perfect match for Lego, given the brand's emphasis on creativity and construction.

However, the last entry in the series, Cities: Skylines 2, was marred by technical issues at launch, leading to indefinite delays for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions. There is no official word on when Lego Skylines could be announced, but a reveal might be planned for Summer Game Fest on June 5.

In addition to Lego Skylines, the same Korean board also rated a remake of Persona 4 Revival, which does not yet have a release date. Other ratings include Gears Of War: E-Day, Ace Combat 8, and Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy, the latter of which has been rumoured for the Switch 2.

This is not the only Lego-related leak of recent weeks. A set inspired by Arcanine from Pokémon was recently unearthed on Reddit, following the Pikachu, Eevee, Charizard, Venosaur, and Blastoise sets from earlier this year. It is rumoured to launch on August 1, priced at €100 (£86). Similarly, there are rumours another Lego set based on The Legend Of Zelda will launch later this year, possibly tied to a Zelda: Ocarina Of Time remake for Switch 2.

Lego also recently confirmed it is planning to launch a set based on Donkey Kong 'soon', seemingly based on the original coin-op arcade game, similar to the Pac-Man set released previously.
