Police responded to a call at approximately 4 p.m. regarding a hazardous materials incident at a business premises on Warrington Road, Ashton-Under-Lyne. A man in his 30s was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Fortunately, his injuries are not considered life-threatening or life-changing, according to Greater Manchester Police.

Previous Acid Attack in East London

This incident follows a similar attack in October, when two boys were taken to hospital after acid was thrown during a fight in east London. Emergency services were called to Walthamstow High Street after reports of two groups of boys fighting. A corrosive chemical was thrown, and the boys were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
