Jet2 launches new London Stansted route to Innsbruck

Jet2.com has announced a new route from London Stansted to Innsbruck, Austria, for the 2026/27 ski season, offering weekly Saturday flights from 19 December 2026 to 10 April 2027. The service will operate during peak travel periods, including Christmas, February half-term, and Easter.

Expanded ski programme from Stansted

The new Innsbruck route adds over 6,000 additional ski seats from Stansted, responding to continued demand for ski holidays. Jet2.com's ski programme from the Essex airport now includes five destinations: Innsbruck, Chambery, Geneva, Grenoble, and Salzburg, providing access to ski regions in Austria, France, Switzerland, and northern Italy.

Innsbruck: a gateway to world-class resorts

Innsbruck is a well-established winter sports gateway, with the Nordkette ski area just 20 minutes from the city centre, offering six slopes and a snow park. Nearby resorts include Mayrhofen, known for snow-sure slopes, and St Anton am Arlberg, famous for its après-ski scene.

Other ski destinations from Stansted

Chambery serves as a gateway to French Alps resorts like Courchevel, with up to three weekly flights. Geneva offers up to seven weekly services, providing access to Tignes, Flaine, Verbier, Zermatt, and the Three Valleys. Grenoble features weekly Saturday flights, with over 175 nearby resorts including Morzine and Chamonix. Salzburg also offers weekly Saturday services, connecting to Kaprun, Mayrhofen, and Obertauern.

Baggage and booking details

Passengers receive a 10kg hand baggage allowance, with hold luggage and ski carriage (up to 22kg each) available for an additional charge.
