Hayes Police Incident: Coldharbour Lane Shut, Buses Diverted

A police incident has shut a shopping street in Hayes this morning (June 27), with several bus routes diverting away from the scene. Coldharbour Lane is currently closed in both directions between Pump Lane and Minet Drive.

Road Closure and Cordon in Place Since Early Morning

The nature of the incident is yet to be confirmed by the emergency services. However, a cordon and road closure have been in place since around 5.45am, according to traffic tracker Inrix. A photo taken at the scene, and seen by MyLondon, shows red-and-white tape sealing off a handful of shops and an alleyway leading to Glebe Road.

Bus Diversions Affecting Four Routes

Four bus routes, including the Superloop, are being rerouted away from the area. The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service have been contacted for more information.
