Duskbloods Network Test August Dates and Sign-Up Info

FromSoftware, the creators of Elden Ring, will debut their Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive The Duskbloods to the public in August via a closed network test. Sign-ups are now open on the official website.

Network Test Dates and Times

The closed network test spans four days in Europe, from August 21 to August 24, 2026. UK times include Friday August 21 from 11am to 2.59pm BST, Saturday August 22 from 3am to 6.59am BST and 7pm to 10.59pm BST, Sunday August 23 from 11am to 2.59pm BST, and Monday August 24 from 3am to 6.59am BST.

According to the official website, the network test is designed to 'check different technical aspects of the game’s online systems.' A description reads: 'The Duskbloods Network Test allows for up to eight players to participate together in each of the multiplayer matches while the game is still in development. We ask for your understanding that bugs may occur during gameplay.'

How to Sign Up

Players can sign up from Wednesday July 22 at 3pm BST until Tuesday July 28 at 2.59pm BST on the official website. Applicants need a Switch 2 console and an active Nintendo Switch Online membership. Successful applicants will be notified by Friday August 7 at 2pm BST.

Game Details

Announced last year, The Duskbloods is a multiplayer action game directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, supporting up to eight players with competitive and PvE elements. The network test may serve as the first public reveal of the game, as no gameplay trailer has been released yet. The test concludes a day before Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 25, 2026, where a release date might be announced.

If The Duskbloods remains scheduled for 2026, it will compete with Nintendo Switch Sports: Resort in October and GTA 6 in November. Nintendo has not announced a release date for the Zelda Ocarina of Time remake either, leading analysts to express concern over the lack of information about upcoming titles.
