Tele shares Robinson-Hanson video; Stefanovic hits back

The Daily Telegraph has republished a video by far-right anti-Islamic activist Tommy Robinson featuring One Nation leader Pauline Hanson on its Instagram and TikTok accounts. The video shows Robinson walking through Luton, UK, with Hanson, who says she is 'gobsmacked' by the demographic and does not 'want Australia to become like this.'

Tele's social media use of Robinson content

The Daily Telegraph, a News Corp tabloid, posted the video on its Instagram and TikTok accounts. The caption read: 'One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has joined UK far-right activist Tommy Robinson on a walking tour of Luton, saying she was “gobsmacked” by the demographic and that she doesn’t “want Australia to become like this.”' The video was originally produced by 7News Spotlight for an exclusive to air on Sunday. The Telegraph editor, Ben English, did not respond to a request for comment.

Stefanovic's expletive-laden response

Karl Stefanovic, who was terminated from Nine after interviewing Robinson, appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored this week. He told former Nine colleagues who criticised him to 'go f*** themselves,' while flipping two middle fingers to the camera. Stefanovic stood by his controversial interview with Robinson, saying: 'If you don’t like my show, then don’t watch it.' He also thanked Morgan for his support ahead of his return to Australia.
