Police Hunt Tube Sex Attacker Who Hid Behind Newspaper

British Transport Police (BTP) have released an image of a man they believe may have information about a sexual assault on the London Underground. The incident occurred on the Jubilee Line, where a man used a newspaper to hide his actions while assaulting a woman.

Details of the Assault

At approximately 1:40 pm on Thursday, 28 May, a woman was seated on a Tube train when a man boarded, either at Bond Street or Green Park station, and sat next to her. He then sexually assaulted her, using a newspaper to conceal what he was doing. The victim confronted the man, who subsequently moved away down the train and alighted at West Hampstead Underground station.

Police Appeal

Detectives from BTP are investigating the assault, which took place on a Jubilee Line train traveling from London Bridge to West Hampstead. They have released an image of a man they wish to speak to, as he may hold crucial information. In the photograph, the man is wearing a black hoodie and holding a gold-colored phone.
