Microsoft services experienced disruptions on Friday, July 10, 2026, with users reporting problems accessing Outlook and the AI chatbot Copilot. According to outage tracking website DownDetector, reports of issues with Outlook began shortly after 7am and escalated throughout the morning, peaking just before 9am with nearly 100 complaints.
Outlook and Copilot affected
Of the Outlook reports, 25% cited login difficulties, while 43% struggled to send messages. Copilot also faced issues, with 30 users reporting problems, 63% of which were related to the website. A smaller number of users flagged issues with Microsoft 365.
Other services unaffected
Microsoft Store and Azure appeared to operate normally without widespread outages. Microsoft had not issued a statement by the time of publication. Metro has contacted Microsoft for comment.
