KFC has introduced a new line of naan burgers in the UK, aiming to capitalise on nostalgia for McDonald's McChicken Korma Naan from the 1990s. The limited-edition Crispy Naan range includes four items: two burgers, loaded fries, and a sharing feast, landing in restaurants nationwide on July 20 and available for only five weeks until August 23.
New Naan Burgers
The Tandoori Zinger Crispy Naan features a spicy Zinger chicken fillet with tandoori sauce, tomato, red onion, lettuce, and melted cheese between two naan breads. For those preferring milder flavours, the Creamy Original Crispy Naan offers a yoghurt and shallot sauce described as 'creamy, tangy, fresh, and herby'. Each burger costs £7.49, or £9.49 as a meal.
Additional Menu Items
KFC is also launching Tandoori Loaded Fries (£3.99), combining signature chips with Popcorn Chicken and both creamy yoghurt and tandoori sauces. The Tandoori Dipping Feast (£26.99) includes 14 Original Recipe Tenders, two portions of Tandoori Loaded Fries, regular fries, sides, dips, and a large drink, ideal for World Cup final viewing.
Consumer Anticipation
Although customers have yet to sample the range, a 2025 TikTok video by @TripleEats recreating the Tandoori Zinger Crispy Naan Burger from Germany received positive reviews, with the creator urging KFC UK to launch it officially. Online reactions have been favourable, with Facebook users like Kieran Manning calling the 'new summer menu sounds amazing' and Deni Louise tagging friends to plan visits.
Matcha Drinks Join the Menu
Alongside the naan range, KFC is entering the matcha trend with two new drinks under its Kwench speciality range: Iced Strawberry Shortcake (£4.49) and Vanilla (£3.99). This follows competitors like Greggs and McDonald's, which launched matcha offerings earlier in 2026. The matcha drinks will become a permanent fixture on the menu.
