Gavin and Stacey star Joanna Page is reportedly in advanced talks to join the cast of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here 2026, according to a source close to the production. The 49-year-old Welsh actress, who played Stacey on the hit BBC sitcom, has met with ITV bosses to discuss entering the jungle later this year.
Joanna Page leads rumoured line-up
A source told The Sun that 'all signs are looking positive' from the talks, describing Page as a 'hugely popular' name. 'She's a huge BBC star and it would be a coup if ITV can get her to sign her contract and put her front and centre on their biggest entertainment show,' the insider said. 'I'm a Celeb bosses would love to get her in the jungle so the public can get to know the real Joanna. She has confided in friends that she's really keen to take part and wants to go on and make her children proud.' Metro has contacted Page's representative for comment.
Su-Elise Nash: Mis-Teeq star eyes jungle
Mis-Teeq singer Su-Elise Nash, 45, is also in early talks to join the show, following in the footsteps of bandmate Sabrina Washington who appeared in the jungle in 2009. A source told The Sun: 'Su was incredibly supportive of Sabrina's jungle experience, and now she could get her own shot. There have been early talks for her to be considered. The reunion has reminded everyone just how much love there still is for Mis-Teeq.' Nash almost took part in 2008, and an insider added 'the timing couldn't be better'.
Nadiya Bychkova swaps Strictly for jungle
Strictly Come Dancing pro Nadiya Bychkova, 36, could be swapping the dance floor for the jungle after exiting the BBC series following a major cast shakeup. An insider told The Sun: 'Nadiya has always been on the radar but has been unable to take part because of her commitment to Strictly. Now she's a free agent, the offers have been coming in thick and fast. She's had a number of chats about doing the jungle. Bosses are so impressed with her, it's even been suggested she turns down other shows.' After her departure, she teased that her journey with Strictly 'isn't over'.
Christopher Dean: Olympic skater considers new challenge
Olympic skating legend Christopher Dean, 68, is in discussions with ITV producers after being on their wish list for years. A source told The Sun: 'He's always been adamant the jungle isn't for him. When bosses came knocking this year, he saw it in a different light. He's recently retired and is looking for a new challenge. I'm A Celebrity is certainly that, so he has met with producers a few times already to talk through being a campmate for this year's standard Australian series.' Dean won gold at the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics with partner Jayne Torvill, and later judged on ITV's Dancing on Ice until its cancellation in 2025.
I'm A Celebrity 2026: Air date and previous winner
I'm A Celebrity 2026 is expected to air in November, though no official release date has been announced. Last year, livestreamer and football influencer AngryGinge was crowned King of the Jungle. 'I feel amazing. Honestly, (it is a) dream come true. I did not think I'd go all this way, never mind win, so thank you to everyone who voted,' he said at the time. Celebs Go Dating star Tom Wilson and EastEnders icon Shona McGarty came second and third, respectively.
