Harry Styles fans say 'he's one of us' after 6-7 gesture

Harry Styles has been performing a twelve-night residency at Wembley Stadium as part of his 'Together, Together' tour, which supports his latest album 'Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally.' The tour has been a hit with fans, who attend in sequined outfits, and includes support from Shania Twain performing hits like 'Man! I Feel Like A Woman!' and 'That Don't Impress Me Much.'

Fan Video Sparks Confusion Over Hand Gesture

During one of the shows, fan Becca, who posts on TikTok as @concertbecca, captured a short clip of Harry Styles singing his hit 'Kiwi' but to the tune of 'Watermelon Sugar.' In the video, Styles appears to move his hands back and forth like weighing scales, mimicking the viral 6-7 trend.

One fan commented: 'My sister was at the front with this sign! I like to think she is the reason.' The sign read: 'My son was born to Kiwi! Please play it.' Another added: 'The way he's singing songs from all his albums, including a mix of 1D songs, is like, this may be his last tour, maybe he'll be settling down after this.'

What Is the 6-7 Trend?

The 6-7 trend involves children chanting '6-7' in a sing-song voice while moving their hands like scales. It originated from a Skrilla song called 'Doot Doot (6 7)' and became associated with 6ft 7in basketball player LaMelo Ball. The soundbite exploded on YouTube and has since generated millions of TikTok posts using the 6-7 hashtag.

Despite its popularity, the trend has no specific meaning and is considered a silly fad.

Fans React to Harry's Gesture

In the clip, Styles' hand motion led fans to joke that 'he's one of us,' referencing his familiarity with the trend. Another fan shared a screenshot of him laughing to himself, writing: 'He knows exactly what he's doing!' This aligns with Styles' reputation for having a mischievous sense of humour.

The gesture left many fans puzzled, with one writing: 'Why's he rapping it and six sevening through it, I'm crying.' Another said they were 'f****** crying laughing' at the comment.

Tour Continues to Delight

The 'Together, Together' tour has been a sell-out success, with fans from across the UK attending. Each night offers a slightly different setlist, keeping audiences engaged. The inclusion of Shania Twain as a support act has been an additional draw.
