An easyJet flight bound for Liverpool was compelled to return to Tenerife South airport after a brawl involving 10 passengers broke out on board, air traffic control confirmed. The pilot opted to turn back approximately 30 minutes into the journey due to the danger the altercation posed to the safety of the flight.

Flight EZY3352, carrying 186 passengers, departed Tenerife South on Tuesday evening. About 30 minutes into the flight, a group of 10 passengers started fighting, prompting the crew to request police presence upon landing. The captain decided to return to Tenerife South, where officers met the aircraft.
Air traffic control stated: "The crew of the flight from Tenerife South to Liverpool, after about 30 minutes of flight, informed us that they needed to return to the airport and requested police presence upon arrival. A group of about 10 passengers had started a fight on board, and the captain decided to return due to the danger it posed to the safety of the flight."
Airport Response
Controllers expedited the return and coordinated with the airport for police presence. The aircraft landed and cleared runway 07 without incident. The 186-passenger jet subsequently proceeded to Liverpool after the disruptive passengers were removed.
An easyJet spokesperson said: "The flight returned to the airport and was met by police due to a group of passengers behaving disruptively. The flight then continued to Liverpool."
