Tottenham Hotspur supporters travelling to Saturday's match against Aston Villa on September 19 face severe disruption as the Weaver line will be shut throughout the weekend between Hackney Downs and both Cheshunt and Enfield Town due to maintenance work. As a result, White Hart Lane, the closest station to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, will be closed.
TfL has advised fans to travel to either Seven Sisters or Tottenham Hale on the Victoria line, both of which are about a 30-minute walk from the ground. Following the match, supporters are advised to use Seven Sisters due to entry restrictions at Tottenham Hale, where there will be no down escalator, forcing passengers to use the lift or walk down 100 stairs to reach the platforms.
DLR and Tube closures add to weekend travel disruption
Elsewhere on London's transport network, most of the DLR will be suspended this weekend while new trains continue to be tested. Three new trains have already been rolled out on the route between Stratford International and Woolwich Arsenal, with plans for the 54-strong fleet to eventually cover the full network.
London Underground closures will affect West London on Saturday and Sunday. Barons Court station will close while its ticket hall is being refurbished, with no Piccadilly line service between Hyde Park Corner and Acton Town, and no District line trains between Earl's Court and both Ealing Broadway and Richmond.

DLR closures – Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20: No service between Bank and Lewisham, between Tower Gateway and Canning Town and between Canary Wharf and Stratford. Affected passengers should use Tube, Windrush line or Elizabeth line services, or local bus routes.
District line – Friday, September 18 to Sunday, September 20: Barons Court station to shut. On Friday, use nearby West Kensington on the District line. Change at Earl's Court or Hammersmith for the Piccadilly line if necessary. This is due to the ticket hall being refurbished. Saturday and Sunday: No service between Earl's Court and both Ealing Broadway and Richmond due to track work. Affected passengers can use alternative Tube or Mildmay line services, or local and replacement bus routes.
Overground and Windrush line changes
Lioness line – Sunday, September 20: No service between Queen's Park and Willesden Junction until 9.15am. Affected passengers can use other Tube services or local and replacement buses. A reduced service will also run between Euston and Willesden Junction until 4.15pm, with trains every half hour.
Weaver line – Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20: No trains will run between Hackney Downs and Enfield Town or Cheshunt due to maintenance work. A replacement bus service will operate while affected passengers can also use alternative Tube routes. Supporters attending Tottenham Hotspur's match against Aston Villa are advised to use the Victoria line to Seven Sisters or Tottenham Hale.
Windrush line – Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20: Trains will terminate at Battersea Park instead of Clapham Junction after 11.30pm on Saturday and all day Sunday. Affected passengers can use Southern Railway trains to reach Clapham Junction from Battersea Park. Sunday, September 20: No trains between Sydenham and West Croydon until 8am. Affected passengers can use Southern Railway trains.
