The study assessed 20 destinations across the globe, with Brockwell Lido achieving a 32.7% positive review rate. It is the only London spot to make the list, alongside two other UK locations: Cairngorm National Park in Scotland (72% positive reviews, ranking 2nd) and Bude Sea Pool in Cornwall (52.4%, ranking 9th).
A Historic Lido
Built in 1937 during the golden era of lidos, Brockwell Lido is a Grade II listed site that retains its Art Deco charm. The 50-metre pool is unheated, making it ideal for a cooling swim during hot weather. Visitors can book lanes for serious swimming or enjoy a lane-free area for casual dips, though it can be lively with splashes from children.
