Jodie's Smoke-Filled Scheme Unfolds
On Monday, September 14, as David, Doug and Jodie arrive home, they're horrified to realise the kitchen is full of smoke, which is quickly creeping across to the living room. As Doug dashes to open the back door and Jodie legs it upstairs to check on baby Harper, David, finding the smoke alarm disabled, rouses a sleeping Shona, furious that she put herself and their child in so much danger. As Jodie struggles to contain her grin at Shona's evident distress, David softens as his wife's exhaustion becomes evident – she feels utterly terrible.
