Match Highlights

The Three Lions' 2-1 victory over Norway in Miami came after Jude Bellingham scored the winning goal within two minutes of extra time. Norway had taken the lead in the first half, but a second goal was ruled out by VAR after Manchester City striker Erling Haaland pushed midfielder Elliot Anderson. Bellingham equalized late in the first half of normal time.

Norway claimed the ball hit the cables supporting the Skycam camera before clearing upfield, but FIFA disputed this. Prince William celebrated on X: 'Well done England! Top performance in a tough environment. This is a special team. Commiserations to a proud Norway team. Onto the semi-final… Never in doubt!'

Outgoing Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said Norway's team took 'one hell of a beating,' tagging Norway's leader Jonas Gahr Støre. England will face Argentina in the semi-final in Atlanta on Wednesday, after Argentina beat Switzerland 3-1.
