Eurovision Star Reacts to Last Place with One Point

UK Eurovision entry Look Mum No Computer, real name Sam Battle, has responded to finishing in last place with just one point. The electro-punk artist performed his song Eins, Zwei, Drei at the Grand Final in Vienna, Austria, on Saturday night.

Eurovision 2026 Results

Bulgaria's Darina Nikolaeva Yotova, known as Dara, won with 516 points for her pop song Bangaranga. The UK received zero points from the audience vote and one point from the Ukrainian jury, placing 25th out of 25 countries.

Sam Battle's Reaction

In an Instagram video posted after the show, Sam and his group chanted 'Eins point' while holding up one finger. He said, 'Yeah we did it, one point,' before changing to 'UK' chants. In the caption, he wrote: 'Bulgaria honestly deserved winner! Met a lot of amazing folk, the most important thing is we all tried our hardest.'

Fans showed support in the comments. One wrote: 'You rocked it Super proud of you and everyone involved!' Another said: 'Genuinely shocked you came bottom, I thought it was a banger.'

Other Eurovision Highlights

Israeli act Noam Bettan came second with 343 points. Five countries—Spain, Netherlands, Ireland, Iceland, and Slovenia—boycotted over Israel's inclusion. Czechia faced a technical blunder preventing a re-performance, and Sweden's Felicia Eriksson caused confusion with muffled vocals.

Sam joins a list of UK acts with poor results, except Sam Ryder's second place in 2022.
