Zanardi made his Formula One debut in 1991, but his career was forever altered in September 2001 when he suffered a devastating accident during a race at the EuroSpeedway in Germany. The crash resulted in the amputation of both his legs. Despite this life-changing event, Zanardi displayed remarkable resilience and determination.
Paralympic Glory
