Two men and three boys have been charged following the alleged gang rape of a teenage girl in Gravesend, Kent. The victim was attacked at a private property on Salisbury Road over a period spanning from March 25 to April 19, according to Kent Police.
Charges Filed
Ionut Dobre, 33, of Cleanthus Road in Woolwich, has been charged with rape. Benone Inofte, 46, of Salisbury Road, Gravesend, faces charges of aiding and abetting rape. Additionally, two 16-year-old boys and a 15-year-old boy have also been charged in connection with the incident.
Police Investigation
Kent Police received reports of the assault on April 21, 2026, and promptly launched an investigation. The suspects were arrested on April 21 and 22. Following their arrests, both men were remanded into custody, two of the boys were placed in youth detention, and the third was released into the care of the local authority.
Authorities have not released further details to protect the identity of the victim. The case continues to be investigated.
