Dylan Brown, 33, whose address is listed as HMP Thameside, has been charged with one count of stalking and three counts of blackmail. He appeared at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on September 18 and was remanded in custody. Brown is accused of stalking one person between August 18, 2024, and December 16, 2025, by sending abusive and threatening messages and emails that “caused serious alarm or distress”.
Blackmail allegations span multiple victims
Brown also faces three counts of blackmail for allegedly making unwarranted demands of money with menaces. The charges relate to the same person between August 28 and December 4, 2024, as well as two other individuals during separate periods: December 27, 2024, to January 31, 2025, and June 24 to 27, 2023.
He was denied bail on the grounds that he is likely to offend and cause injury or fear of injury. A plea and trial preparation hearing is scheduled at Inner London Crown Court on October 16, 2026.

The case has been transferred to Inner London Crown Court, where Brown will appear for the plea and trial preparation hearing. The charges stem from incidents reported in Thamesmead, and the investigation was conducted by local authorities.
