A 66-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of a 36-year-old man at a residence in South London. Vasyl Myslyvets, of Winterslow Road, Brixton, is set to appear at Bromley Magistrates Court on Monday, April 27, after being charged with the killing.
Details of the Incident
On Wednesday, April 22, at approximately 6:39 PM, the London Ambulance Service alerted police to a home on Winterslow Road in Camberwell, where a man had been found deceased. The 36-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene, having sustained injuries. Formal identification has not yet been carried out, but next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.
Arrest and Charge
The following day, Thursday, April 23, a 66-year-old man was arrested in Kent on suspicion of murder. He has since been charged and remanded in custody. The Metropolitan Police are continuing their investigation and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
