Jake Hall Found with Glass Shard in Neck

Jake Hall, the former Towie star and fashion designer, was found dead on Wednesday at a holiday villa in Majorca. The 35-year-old was discovered by a neighbor who rushed to help after hearing glass shattering. According to reports, Hall had invited friends back to the villa for an after-party following a night out in Palma. At around 7:15 am, glass was heard smashing.

Neighbor's Account

Rafel, a construction worker living nearby, was heading to work when he heard cries for help from a group of young women in their twenties. He found Hall on the patio floor with cuts all over his body and a large shard of glass in his neck. ‘I am no hero,’ Rafel told the Daily Mail. ‘I would have tried to save anyone who had been in that position.’ He added that Hall was topless, with a t-shirt placed over his body, and had glass shards lodged in his neck and chest. ‘It looked like he ran through the glass patio door thinking it was open but in reality it was closed. I tried to see if there was anything I could do to help save him but there was sadly no sign of life. He was not breathing and I could feel no pulse.’

Police Investigation

Authorities in Majorca have said there is no evidence of a crime, and the death is being treated as accidental. Police found Hall lying in a pool of blood with fatal injuries caused by shards of glass after he reportedly smashed his head through a door. Witnesses told investigators that Hall had been ‘partying all night and decided to carry on the party back at the place he was renting.’ Police were called at 7:30 am and have interviewed four men and two women staying at the house. A neighbor told local paper Ultima Hora that they heard loud noise around 2 am, as if someone was drilling, causing walls to vibrate. Hall’s body was removed at around 1 pm. An autopsy took place in Palma on Friday, and results are pending.

Tributes

Hall’s ex-partner, Misse Beqiri, mother of their eight-year-old daughter River, shared a tribute on social media. ‘I never thought I would ever have to write this, and the pain of even putting these words down feels unbearable,’ she wrote. ‘There was no way you were ever supposed to go. My heart is shattered, and so is our daughter’s. You lit up every room you walked into – your smile, your charm, your energy that filled the air. The way you loved music, how deeply you felt every sound, your creativity, your mind, your spirit.’
