A corrections and clarifications note has been issued regarding an explainer article on asylum routes. The article, published on 11 June, stated that “once in Northern Ireland, an asylum seeker can travel on local flights, buses or ferries to the UK”. This reference should have been to Great Britain, or the UK mainland. The error occurred in print only.
Cryptic crossword correction
The clue for 21 down in cryptic crossword no 30,043, published on 26 June, said “Beautiful spot to get hot Japanese food (6)”; that should have read “Javanese food”.
