Detective Chief Inspector Matthew Denby, leading the investigation, stated: "My thoughts remain with the loved ones of the man who has died. We believe that the two men suffered wounds during an altercation outside a property on North Road."

Police Appeal for Information

Denby urged witnesses or anyone with CCTV footage to come forward. A large police cordon remains in place on North Road and surrounding streets as inquiries continue.

Local MP for Ealing Southall, Deirdre Costigan, offered condolences on Facebook, saying: "My thoughts are with the family of the young man who has tragically died following the stabbing on North Road this morning." She urged anyone with information to contact police on 101, quoting CAD 215/10JUN26, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Community Reaction

Local business owners described the area as safe. A staff member at B&B Timber & Builders Merchants said: "It's not dangerous, it's a safe area. [It's an] all Asian community, they are all nice people and are kind to each other." A worker at West Windows & Plastic Centre echoed this sentiment, though noted occasional fast driving.

The stabbing occurred on North Road, a residential street with low-rise homes and a strip of shops. Google Maps shows traffic flowing smoothly in the area.
