UK Police Probe 'Paedophile Ring Party' Claims in Epstein Files
Police investigate Epstein files UK 'paedophile ring' claims

British detectives have launched an investigation into shocking allegations contained within the recently released Jeffrey Epstein files, which include unverified claims of a child being taken to 'paedophile ring parties' in the United Kingdom.

Allegations of Abuse at Royal Estate

The claims, which are yet to be substantiated, form part of a vast cache of more than 11,000 documents released by the US Department of Justice (DoJ) on Monday, December 23, 2025. Among them is a statement given to the FBI in 2020 by an unnamed complainant, who was 35 years old at the time.

This individual alleges that in the mid-1990s, when they were aged between six and eight, they were 'drugged at night and driven by my father' to events described as 'paedophile ring parties' in Surrey. One specific incident is said to have taken place at Frogmore Cottage on the royal estate in Windsor. The complainant stated they recognised the location from news coverage of its refurbishment in 2018.

Graphic Details and Named Individuals

The document contains deeply disturbing details. The person claims that at Frogmore Cottage, they were 'restrained on a table and tortured with electric shocks'. They further allege that Ghislaine Maxwell, the former associate of convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, and Prince Andrew were present during this incident, with men watching on.

'I remember seeing Prince Andrew’s face,' the statement reads. The complainant also describes an attempt to escape, claiming that 'Maxwell caught me and beat me with the bristle end of a broom.' The individual has told the FBI they are 'willing to testify, and to provide evidence and/or more detailed descriptions of events.'

Police Response and Ongoing Scrutiny

In response to the emergence of these allegations, Surrey Police has confirmed it is examining the claims. A force spokesperson stated: 'Following a review of our systems using the limited information available to us, we can find no evidence of these allegations being reported to Surrey Police.'

The force emphasised its serious approach, adding: 'We are therefore engaging with relevant agencies to obtain access to the redacted information. We take all reports of child abuse seriously and encourage anyone with information in relation to these allegations to report this to us.'

The document is one of thousands from the Epstein files made public, many of which are heavily redacted. The DoJ is expected to release hundreds of thousands more pages in the coming weeks. In a separate file, a photograph shows the former prince lying across the laps of five women at Sandringham with Maxwell looking on.

Prince Andrew has repeatedly and vigorously denied any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein or Maxwell. It is important to note that appearing in photographs released as part of the files does not in itself imply any misconduct. Metro has contacted the Duke of York's office for comment on the latest allegations.
