Hounslow murder probe after man, 22, stabbed on A4

A murder investigation is underway in Hounslow after a 22-year-old man was stabbed to death on the A4 in the early hours of June 30. The victim, who has not yet been named, was attacked at the junction of Bath Road and Great South West Road at approximately 1:47 AM and died at the scene.

Forensic evidence search underway

Photos from the scene show forensic officers working behind a large cordon on the westbound section of the A4 near Heathrow Airport. Evidence markers have been placed within the blue-and-white tape, including near the door of an N9 bus. First aid equipment and a sheet are visible on the tarmac at the entrance to a residential area on Travellers Way.

Police appeal for information

Detective Chief Inspector Paul Waller, leading the murder investigation, said: "Patrols from local Neighbourhood Policing Team have been increased in the area and anyone with any concerns is asked to speak to officers. Any information, no matter how minor it may seem, could prove crucial. CCTV, doorbell or mobile phone footage may provide vital evidence."
