Guardian Issues Corrections for Nottingham Killings and Musician Interview
The Guardian has published a series of corrections and clarifications, addressing errors in recent articles. Notably, the newspaper has corrected details regarding the Nottingham killings carried out by Valdo Calocane and an interview with musician Angelo De Augustine.
Nottingham Attacks Correction
In an editorial published on 14 April in the Journal section, page 2, The Guardian incorrectly stated that the killings of three people by Valdo Calocane occurred in January 2024. The newspaper has now clarified that these tragic events took place in June 2023. Additionally, Calocane was 31 years old at the time of the attacks, not 32 as previously reported.
Angelo De Augustine Interview Update
In an interview with musician Angelo De Augustine, featured on 8 April in the G2 section, page 9, the first paragraph described a sudden collapse he suffered. The article originally stated this happened in 2022, but it has been corrected to Halloween in 2021. The interview, titled 'I didn’t think I’d survive', now accurately reflects the timeline of this health incident.
