Cara Delevingne confirms Amber Heard relationship

Cara Delevingne has confirmed that she was romantically involved with Amber Heard during Heard's high-profile divorce from Johnny Depp. The revelation came during an interview on The Louis Theroux Podcast, where Delevingne detailed the entanglement that added fuel to the couple's tumultuous separation.

Delevingne opens up about 'entanglement' with Heard

When Theroux asked, 'Are we going to mention the Johnny Depp thing?' Delevingne responded, 'Sure? What part of it?' Theroux then said Depp was 'driven crazy by the idea that Amber might be sleeping with you.' After a pause, Delevingne asked, 'Am I meant to comment?' She continued, 'I think he was pretty driven crazy by jealousy. I suppose nothing was happening at that point. Later, after they divorced, it had I suppose.'

Delevingne admitted, 'We were close for a long time and then when they were going through the divorce, yeah, we were entangled, I suppose, but she was also entangled with other people.' She explained that the relationship began while they were filming London Fields together, a film that also involved Depp.

Theroux probes Musk connection

Theroux then noted that Heard was also 'entangled' with Elon Musk. Delevingne responded, 'There we go.' This aligns with earlier rumors of a 'three-way affair' involving Heard, Delevingne, and Musk, which emerged during Depp's defamation case. At the time, Musk denied the ménage à trois to Page Six, stating, 'Cara and I are friends, but we've never been intimate.'

Timeline of the Heard-Depp divorce and legal battles

Heard and Depp married in February 2015, and Heard filed for divorce in May 2016, which was finalized in January 2017. The divorce led to a lengthy defamation case where Depp accused Heard of defaming him in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed. Depp also sued The Sun for libel over a headline calling him a 'wife beater,' losing that case in November 2020.

In the US defamation trial, a jury found Heard had defamed Depp, awarding him more than $10 million in damages. Heard's countersuit resulted in a $2 million award after a lawyer for Depp was found to have defamed her. Both parties appealed before announcing a settlement in December 2022.

Previous rumors of Delevingne-Heard relationship

Rumors of a relationship between Delevingne and Heard had circulated for years. Reports emerged that they were sharing a hotel room in September 2016, after becoming close friends in 2014. Metro has contacted Amber Heard's representatives for comment on the confirmation.
