In the latest episode of Emmerdale, Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) and Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) are revealed to be aware of Dawn Taylor's (Olivia Bromley) plan to ruin Joe. Dawn, feeling betrayed by Joe's lies and his harm to other villagers, has teamed up with Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) to steal everything Joe owns and leave him destitute.
Dawn's Scheme Unfolds
When Joe overheard Dawn arguing with Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper), Dawn expressed a desire to buy Take a Vow to avoid dealing with the Dingles. Joe eagerly offered her a large sum of cash to buy Belle out, which Dawn accepted. At Wishing Well, Dawn updated Belle and Moira, laughing at how smoothly the plan was progressing.
Joe's Suspicious Generosity
Later, Joe attempted to prove his love by setting up trust funds for all of Dawn's children, including their unborn baby. Dawn saw this as another opportunity to extract more money. Despite Joe's uncharacteristic kindness, including being civil to Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) and inviting him to dinner, Dawn remained focused on her revenge.
That evening, Dawn requested more money for her business plan, and Joe agreed. However, Joe had been making comments about Dawn being his future wife, which she failed to see as suspicious. As Dawn went upstairs to help Clemmie with homework, Joe confided in Graham that they had known about Dawn and Moira's plan all along.
A Dark Turn
Graham insists they must stop Dawn's scheme 'for good,' but their interpretations may differ. Before the week ends, Graham finds Dawn unconscious at the bottom of the stairs. When Joe appears, Graham asks what he has done, raising the possibility that Joe has endangered his pregnant partner's life.
This twist leaves viewers questioning Joe's true intentions and the fate of Dawn and her unborn child.
