A devastating house fire in the early hours of Boxing Day has claimed the lives of a mother and her two young children in Stroud, Gloucestershire.
Emergency Response to Brimscombe Hill
Emergency services were called to a property on Brimscombe Hill, near Stroud, at around 3am on 26 December. Crews from Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service, alongside police officers and ambulance teams, rushed to the scene.
Despite their efforts, the blaze proved fatal for three members of the family. A seven-year-old girl and a four-year-old boy died alongside their mother. One other person managed to escape the property and was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital to receive treatment for their injuries.
