Jawhara, a London-based perfumer, has launched a new fragrance range that blends traditional Middle Eastern notes with contemporary elements. The collection, named after the founder, features three distinct scents: Oud, Rose, and Musk. Each fragrance is designed to evoke a sense of luxury and sophistication.
Inspiration Behind the Scents
The founder, who has a background in chemistry and a passion for perfumery, drew inspiration from her Moroccan and Lebanese heritage. The Oud scent combines agarwood with hints of saffron and leather, while the Rose fragrance blends damask rose with vanilla and patchouli. The Musk scent features white musk with amber and sandalwood.
According to the brand, the fragrances are made with high-quality ingredients sourced from around the world. The Oud is particularly notable for its use of genuine agarwood oil, which is rare and expensive.
Launch and Availability
The Jawhara fragrance range launched online and in select London boutiques. Prices start at £95 for a 50ml bottle. The brand also offers discovery sets for £25, allowing customers to sample all three scents.
