Major Music Festival Reveals First Headliners for 2026
Glasgow's biggest summer party is officially taking shape, with the first wave of artists for TRNSMT 2026 now confirmed. The festival, officially titled Rockstar Energy presents TRNSMT, will return to its iconic home on Glasgow Green from 19 to 21 June 2026, promising an unforgettable start to the Scottish summer.
Leading the charge as the three main headliners are a powerful mix of rock royalty and homegrown talent. The weekend will kick off on Friday with a performance by the legendary Richard Ashcroft, formerly of The Verve. Saturday night will be commanded by the anthemic rock of Kasabian, while the festival closes on a high note on Sunday with a highly anticipated set from Scotland's own superstar, Lewis Capaldi.
An Eclectic and Star-Studded Supporting Line-Up
Beyond the headliners, the festival has unveiled a diverse and exciting roster of acts set to perform across the three days. The supporting cast ensures there is something for every music fan.
Friday's bill features the acclaimed indie rockers Wolf Alice, the timeless disco and funk of Nile Rodgers & CHIC, and a welcome return for Scottish indie heroes The Beta Band. The day will also see performances from Dylan John Thomas, NewDad, Luvcat, Songer, and Cliffords.
Saturday's line-up is packed with energy, featuring Australian DJ Sonny Fodera making his Scottish festival debut. Scottish favourites The Snuts and The Fratellis will bring the local spirit, alongside the acclaimed rap of Loyle Carner and the rising stars The Last Dinner Party. The day also includes sets from English Teacher, Clementine Douglas, Rose Gray, and Big Special.
Sunday's festivities offer a brilliant mix of genres. Multi-platinum Scottish singer-songwriter Amy Macdonald will perform, and indie-pop favourites Two Door Cinema Club are slated for a special afternoon guest slot. In a major highlight, Perrie of Little Mix fame will make her TRNSMT debut, showcasing her solo pop prowess. They will be joined by CMAT, Scottish sensation Katie Gregson-MacLeod, Red Rum Club, South Arcade, Overpass, and Westside Cowboy.

Fans eager to experience the festival won't have to wait long to secure their place. Tickets for TRNSMT 2026 will go on general sale at 9am GMT on Friday, 14 November. All tickets will be available for purchase through the official TRNSMT website.
