The BBC has officially confirmed the full line-up for the second series of Celebrity Traitors, with production already underway in the Scottish Highlands. Following the massive success of the first celebrity spin-off, which saw comedian Alan Carr emerge victorious as a Traitor undetected by the Faithfuls, the murder mystery game returns with an even more star-studded cast.
Star-Studded Line-Up
The new series features a diverse array of celebrities, including comedians James Acaster, Joe Lycett, Joanne McNally, Rob Beckett, and Romesh Ranganathan. Hollywood heavyweights Michael Sheen and Richard E. Grant join the cast, alongside British acting icons Miranda Hart, Julie Hesmondhalgh, and Sharon Rooney. Other notable participants include Amol Rajan, Bella Ramsey, James Blunt, Jerry Hall, King Kenny, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Maya Jama, Myha’la, Hannah Fry, Ross Kemp, and Sebastian Croft.
What to Expect
Host Claudia Winkleman will welcome this eclectic mix of personalities to the iconic Scottish castle, where they will compete for a chance to win up to £100,000 for their chosen charity. The BBC promises a thrilling season filled with deception, strategy, and suspense as celebrities question who they can trust and who is secretly plotting murder under the cover of darkness.
Last year, Alan Carr won £87,500 for Neuroblastoma UK, a charity dedicated to finding a cure for childhood cancer. This year’s contestants will aim to match or exceed that total for their own charitable causes.
This is a developing story. Stay tuned for more updates on Celebrity Traitors series 2.
