Amandaland Season 2: Lucy Punch Returns as Insufferable Amanda

Get ready for the return of one of television's most delightfully insufferable characters. Lucy Punch is back as Amanda Hughes for the second season of Amandaland, airing at 9pm on BBC One. The series continues to follow Amanda as she navigates life after divorce, now living in a downsized home in south Harlesden (or "SoHa" as she prefers to call it). Not content with her new circumstances, she pushes forward with a new venture: publishing "aspirational content" online. She is joined by her best pal Anne (Philippa Dunne) and her judgmental mother Felicity (Joanna Lumley). This season's premiere introduces a new obstacle in the form of Abs (Harriet Webb), a rival who appears at a careers talk and immediately gets under Amanda's skin.

A Taste for Murder

At 9pm on ITV1, the cosy crime caper continues with its second episode. The creator of a dating app is found dead at the bottom of a cliff, but was her death self-inflicted? The episode is heavy on Italian clichés, with plenty of close-ups of ripe lemons, but it remains easy on the eye.

Salisbury Poisonings: The Untold Story

At 9pm on Channel 4, the second episode of this hair-raising documentary reveals just how close the city of Salisbury came to suffering a devastating catastrophe in 2018. Only Child

At 9.30pm on BBC One, the solidly funny and surprisingly poignant comedy returns. The first series ended with actor Richard (Greg McHugh) leaving his dad, Ken (Gregor Fisher), for a big TV role in Norway. However, season two is not set in glamorous Scandinavia. Instead, Richard is back in Forres on the Moray coast after being fired, hiding out from his crush Emily (to whom he is still sending "on set" photos), while helping his dad save the local allotments.
