London Chefs Make World's Longest Tiramisu at 440.6m

A hundred Italian chefs have broken the Guinness World Record for the world's longest tiramisu in London, assembling a 440.6-metre portion of the classic coffee and sponge dessert. The event took place at Chelsea town hall over the weekend, where the chefs worked together to whip up the massive tiramisu, which far surpassed the previous record of 273.5 metres set in Milan.

Record-Breaking Effort

According to Guinness World Record rules, the tiramisu was made live on site and assembled over five hours to form a single continuous cake. The chefs used two tonnes of mascarpone cheese and 19,000 eggs to create the dessert, which was laid out in a long line for measurement and verification.

Charity Initiative

Portions of the record-breaking tiramisu will be sold to raise money for charity, adding a philanthropic element to the culinary achievement. The event not only showcased the skills of the chefs but also brought together the community for a good cause.
