A Strategic Expansion for the Capital
This ambitious move is part of Aldi's wider national expansion plan, which pledged to open one new store every week until the end of 2025. The new locations at Old Kent Road in Southwark, Kentish Town, and on Harefield Road in Uxbridge will become the discount chain's 51st, 52nd, and 53rd London branches.
While exact opening dates are still under wraps, the company has confirmed all three stores will be fully operational in time for shoppers to complete their essential Christmas grocery haul. This follows the recent launch of a Fulham Broadway branch in September, marking a significant period of growth for the retailer in the capital.

Aldi's commitment to growth extends far beyond London. Across the UK, a total of sixteen new Aldi stores are scheduled to open between November 7th and December 12th, 2025.
