Rockstar Games has unveiled an Ultimate Edition for Grand Theft Auto 6, with pre-orders set to open on Thursday, June 25 at midnight local time. The standard edition is priced at $79.99 in the US, which is expected to translate to approximately £74.99 in the UK, based on the pricing of Mario Kart World. The Ultimate Edition costs $99.99 in the US, with a UK estimate of around £100.
No Physical Disc in Box
Despite being available as a boxed copy, the physical edition of GTA 6 will contain only a download code, not a disc. It remains unclear whether a super deluxe edition with collectible items like statues will be offered later, but it is not part of this week's pre-orders.
Pre-Order Timing and Trailer Speculation
Rockstar stated that pre-orders begin at 'midnight local time on June 25,' which is ambiguous—likely meaning late on June 24 or early June 25. The midnight start suggests that a new trailer will not debut alongside pre-orders, though Rockstar may still have a surprise.
Ultimate Edition Content
The Ultimate Edition includes in-game DLC extras such as the '95 Grotti Cheetah (a Ferrari-like vehicle), a Hawk & Little Morgan revolver, personalized sidearms for protagonists Lucia and Jason, exclusive outfits and tattoos, extra vehicles at Jason's safehouse (Dinka Enduro motorcycle, Crest kayak), exclusive mods for Jason's Vapid Ganado pickup, a Squalo speedboat with an explosive weapon crate, and a '67 Vapid Dominator buggy stored at Paradise Garage in Watson Bay. Players can also customize vehicle interiors, rims, and other elements—a feature exclusive to the Ultimate Edition, likely accessed via a specialist car garage. Additionally, a 'signature salon' allows changes to Jason's facial hair and Lucia's makeup and nails, and an exclusive clothing shop called Stock 305 is available.
Pre-Order Bonuses
All pre-orders include the Vintage Vice City Pack, featuring a 1950s sedan, a garage at Ocean Beach, retro outfits, hairstyles, and weapon patterns for Jason and Lucia, plus a one-month GTA+ subscription.
