No7 Silk Glaze Skin Tint review: Glazed glow without greasiness

No7 has launched its Pro Artist Silk Glaze Skin Tint, a lightweight formula designed to deliver a glazed-skin finish. Priced at £17.95 and available in 12 shades, the product aims to blur imperfections and provide hydration while enhancing the skin's natural glow.

Lightweight formula delivers lit-from-within glow

Junior Publisher Sarah Bradbury tested the new skin tint and reported a lit-from-within glow that blurred redness and evened out her complexion without feeling heavy. 'The coverage is sheer but buildable, and I found I only needed a little concealer on some redness, a couple of breakouts and the dark circles left behind by my kittens waking me up at the crack of dawn,' she said.

Bradbury emphasised that the product achieves the popular glazed-skin finish without making skin look greasy. 'What I love most is that it delivers that glazed-skin finish that's everywhere right now without making my skin look greasy,' she added.

No7 Lift & Luminate Serum Foundation tested on 53km hike

Deputy Editor Claie Wilson tested the No7 Lift & Luminate Triple Action Serum Foundation, £20.95, during a 53km hike across the Cotswolds hills. She noted that after 12 hours, her skin still looked relatively fresh. 'It has SPF15, which is great but I'd still love it to be higher if you're going to be out all day in the sun,' she said.

Wilson, who typically uses Charlotte Tilbury's Unreal Skin Sheer Glow Tint, admitted initial reluctance but found No7's offering provided more obvious coverage while remaining subtle and natural. 'I also loved how the light-reflecting particles helped highlight my cheekbones, and it easily blended in with my 53-year-old skin without sitting in any of the fine lines,' she said.

HydraLuminous Moisturising Foundation impresses with lasting power

Beauty contributor Scott Da Silva-Wells tested the No7 HydraLuminous Moisturising Foundation, usually £16.95 but currently available for £12.71. Available in 19 shades, the formula includes antioxidants like Mulberry Concentrate, Vitamins A, C and E, and SPF 15.

Da Silva-Wells described the formula as thicker than anticipated but praised the Grapeseed Oil for helping it blend effortlessly. 'It melts into the skin like butter,' he said, adding that it felt rich and silky yet lightweight and non-suffocating, making it suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin.

He wore the foundation from 9 AM to 10 PM without needing touch-ups. 'Even after removing it, my skin felt hydrated and its natural glow brighter. This is definitely becoming a staple in my makeup bag going forward,' he concluded.
