Rashford's Barcelona Revival: Flick Hails Smiling Star for Chelsea Clash
Rashford Fit for Chelsea as Flick Hails Barcelona Impact

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has revealed that Marcus Rashford's loan move from Manchester United has reignited the England forward's passion for football, putting a smile back on his face ahead of a crucial Champions League encounter with Chelsea.

A New Lease of Life in Spain

Since joining the Spanish giants, Rashford has found a fresh momentum, scoring six times in all competitions this season. Flick confirmed the player is fit for the trip to London after recovering from a cold that kept him out of Barcelona's 3-1 win against Elche and the weekend victory over Athletic Bilbao.

"I'm really very happy," Flick stated. "He came back from a cold, but he's OK. We'll decide tomorrow if he starts or not. But I'm happy to have him in our team."

Flick Praises Rashford's Renewed Joy

The German coach went on to explain the positive impact the change of scenery has had on the 26-year-old, highlighting his impressive quality and newfound happiness.

"I followed him his whole career, I was impressed with his quality, what he's doing in the box in front of the opponent's goal," Flick said. "He has shown it in Barcelona. Also for him this change to live in another culture, with fantastic people, nice weather, it's amazing. We can see now he's also smiling a lot. If he can enjoy the atmosphere we have it's also very good."

Stamford Bridge Showdown and Teenage Prodigies

The stage is set for a tight battle at Stamford Bridge, with Barcelona and Chelsea level on seven points after four games in the new league phase, the Spanish side ahead only on goal difference.

While Barcelona travel without the injured Pedri, they have been boosted by the return of winger Raphinha. Much of the pre-match intrigue, however, surrounds a duel of teenage wingers: Barcelona's Lamine Yamal and Chelsea's 18-year-old Brazilian, Estêvão Willian.

Chelsea's Marc Cucurella, who plays with Yamal for the Spanish national team, joked about his preparation for marking his young teammate. "I tell Estêvão to put shin pads on in training," the left-back said.

In a significant blow for the Blues, Cole Palmer will be absent as he continues to recover from a broken toe sustained in a domestic accident. Manager Enzo Maresca also dampened hopes of the playmaker returning for Sunday's match against Arsenal.
