England & Scotland World Cup 2026 Fixtures Announced

Football supporters across England and Scotland can now start planning their transatlantic journeys after the locations for their 2026 World Cup group stage matches were officially confirmed.

England's Route Through Group L

The Three Lions, placed in Group L, will begin their campaign in Dallas with a clash against Croatia on 17 June at 4pm EST. Their second fixture sees them travel to Boston to take on Ghana on 23 June, also at 4pm EST. England will conclude their group stage in New Jersey against Panama on 27 June at 5pm EST.

Scotland's Challenging Group C Schedule

Scotland, drawn in Group C, will kick off their tournament in Boston against Haiti on 13 June at 9pm EST. They remain in Boston for their second match, facing Morocco on 19 June at 6pm EST. Their final group game presents a formidable challenge, as they meet football giants Brazil in Miami on 24 June at 6pm EST.

Travel Rush and Home Nations' Qualification Hopes

With the match schedule now public, a significant rush from British fans to secure flights and accommodation in the United States is anticipated. Meanwhile, the hopes of Wales and Northern Ireland remain alive. Wales must first overcome Bosnia and Herzegovina in a play-off in Cardiff, and would then face either Italy or Northern Ireland for a place in the finals. Should they succeed, they would join Group B with Canada, Qatar, and Switzerland.

Northern Ireland's path is similarly tough, requiring a victory over Italy followed by a win against either Wales or Bosnia and Herzegovina to secure their spot in the same group. The final composition of the tournament will become clearer once these decisive play-off matches are concluded.
