EastEnders spoilers have revealed that Will Mitchell (Freddie Phillips) will be the one to finally expose Bea Pollard (Ronni Ancona) as a manipulative villain, setting the stage for a final showdown. After weeks of Bea's scheming, Will takes matters into his own hands to reunite his parents, Honey (Emma Barton) and Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick).
Bea's reign of manipulation
Since arriving in Walford, Bea has been obsessed with infiltrating Honey's life, posing as her best friend while systematically removing anyone close to her. She manipulated Honey into letting her move in, stole Honey's identity to obtain a credit card, and even sabotaged a ladder, hoping to injure Billy but unknowingly putting Honey at risk. Bea also created a fake AI voice clip of Billy for a dating profile and falsely accused him of trying to sleep with her, leading to Billy being kicked out of the house.
Will's investigation
Despite Bea's apparent victory, Will suspected something was amiss and sought out his father, admitting he believed Billy was set up. In upcoming episodes, Will seizes an opportunity to snatch Bea's phone, searching for evidence to prove her guilt. According to Emma Barton, who plays Honey, "Honey is people pleasing, and trying to make them both be friends. She definitely knows that there is no love lost between Billy and Bea, and she is constantly trying to convince Billy to warm to her."
Honey's vulnerability
Bea capitalizes on a failed date between Honey and Billy, exploiting Honey's insecurities about her attractiveness and age. Emma explained, "She is doubting who she is as a woman, and I think the signal she’s got from Billy, and especially after this failed date, is maybe she’s not attractive anymore. Maybe he doesn’t fancy her anymore, and that’s really hard for her to process. We also have to remember that Honey has never had a best friend before, so she is welcoming Bea’s advice. It’s really clouding her judgement."
The final showdown
Will's discovery on Bea's phone could be the key to breaking her spell over Honey. With the evidence, he and Billy plan their next move to expose Bea and reunite the family. The question remains whether a teenager can outwit the deeply devious Bea or if he will become her next victim. EastEnders airs these scenes next week on BBC One.
