The Guardian has issued corrections for several recent articles. In a piece on canned cocktails published on 25 June, a quote about the difference between canned and bottled rum and coke was incorrectly attributed to Jem Roberts of the Institute of Alcohol Studies. The quote should have been attributed to David Inglis, professor of social sciences at the University of Helsinki.
Orson Welles Film Direction Error
An article on 29 June about film archives joining forces to finish Don Quixote, a film started by Orson Welles, erroneously stated that Welles directed The Third Man and A Man for All Seasons. Welles acted in these films but did not direct them.
